Recently, the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee announced the List of the First Batch of Pilot Projects for Deepening the Reform of Public Film Services in Zhejiang Province, identifying 11 public welfare film pilot projects across the province. Among them, the "Construction of Grassroots Indoor Fixed Screening Points in Yiwu City" project was selected.

In recent years, Yiwu City has tailored its approach to local conditions and actively promoted the reform of public film services, exploring a new path for public welfare film screenings that is "systematic, standardized, autonomous, and standardized." To achieve systematic coverage of screening venues, Yiwu has built a three-tiered film public service screening system: At the city level, a number of outdoor fixed red movie screening points have been set up in parks and squares, providing regular public welfare film screening services; at the town and street level, resources from cultural venues such as the New Era Civilization Practice Centers have been revitalized, completing the construction of “Red Cinemas” in 14 towns and streets across the city; at the village level, a number of indoor fixed screening points have been set up in cultural auditoriums with better hardware facilities, combining the traditional mobile screening model to address the "last mile" of public film services.
